The college is affiliated with the University of Pune and was founded by Chhatrapati Shri Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur, leading to the college’s establishment in 1992. Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admission in AISSMS.
Eligibility for B. Tech Admission: For the first-year B. Tech admission to Engineering, the eligibility is as follows :-
Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational as optional subjects.
Candidates from the General category must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
Candidates from Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) must have at least 45% aggregate marks.
Admission to the B.E. program is based on the scores of MHT-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) or JEE Main.
